You have made a huge difference to the way the PEAR installer will be used and I applaud you. I see this as a great boon for PEAR and will see it get a LOT more use because of this. I personally use a few packages from PEAR, as well as things like Smarty, PHPMailer and of course PHPMyAdmin. It will be such a great time and effort saver to be able to install ALL needed packages through the PEAR installer in one fell swoop! Thank you, Poncho
Ahh so now we will get pear 1.4 preinstalled with PHP 5.1, that definetly is good news
btw what about the pear frontends. when will those get updated. |
