There's something wrong in "What this Book covers":
"Chapter 1 introduces you to the PEAR installer. ~~~We begin with a look at the you to the PEAR installer. We begin with a look at~~~ the traditional unzip-and-go method of distributing PHP software and compare its advantages and disadvantages to the PEAR installer's package-based method of distributing PHP software."
Thanks David,
It looks like they cut and pasted poorly from the original, I don't recall that in the proof, I'll have to check the final book. If you find other errors, please report them at http://www.packtpub.com/feedback/book/PEAR-Installer
David,
“apologies for the error in the original sample chapter, this has now been corrected.” Please have a look once again. Sorry once again. |
