I've had various issues myself with the InstallAnywhere installer on Windows x64. I emailed the support and they sent back a copy of the release in a zip file rather than a java installer.
Have you tried linux32 and java 32bit binary? It requires some tweak but it works for many java apps here, even the firefox jre plugin
I recommend you to refer to the following resource:
http://www.zend.com/support/knowledgebase.php?kbid=184&view_only=1 I it doesn't help, either consult Zend forums: http://www.zend.com/forums/index.php?t=thread&frm_id=5 or open a support ticket here: http://www.zend.com/support
If I'm not mistaken the installer on linux does extraction job only with some basic configuration option that can be configured manually.
so I guess you can extract the bin file, move it to /opt/, run ZDE and configure it please update us on this as I'm considering new 64-bit desktop
Hi,
Try this solution: http://www.zend.com/support/knowledgebase.php?kbid=184&view_only=1 I had a similar problem upgrading from kubuntu dapper to edgy and that fixed the issue.
Bless you, this solution works! I now have a fully up and running ZDE
Hi Greg,
Have a look at this thread and how the Gentoo guys solved it. http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-29123-highlight-zend.html Hope it helps. |
